Memorial Message:
Briton Ward was a very Christlike person. I grew up with Briton since Kindergarten. We sluffed in fourth grade with Aaron Moon and went up to his house then back before school was out. I got into big trouble when my dad picked me up! Briton was always there when you needed to talk and had a great laugh. In the summer of 1995 I was traveling home on I-15 and came across a terrible traffic accident. I wasn't able to stop since I was on the opposite side to see if help was needed. I found out a couple of days later that Briton was involved in that accident and that he had lost his life due to the severity of it. My younger brother told me while I was at Albertsons. I was devistated. We talked about living close by and having our kids play together. I told Briton that I was going to name my first son after him, because how wonderful he was. On August 25, 1999 my first child was a boy and I named him Briton. I told my son, Briton, of all the memories I had with my friend and how much he meant to me and that's why he has that special name. I miss Briton and also hanging out with his wonderful family. Trips to Bear Lake and other fun things we did, that my family never had, I will hold in my heart. I am grateful to have known such a wonderful, stalwart man of God. Briton, God be with you till we meet again. Thank you for your great example.
